Default Which dual angle layout fits you and the lane?

Another great article by Joe Slowinski where he explains how dual angle layouts can be used to match the bowler, his needs and the lane conditions. A must read for all of us wanting to learn more about ball manipulation through drill layouts

Nice article but that is a little bit more info than I think I need to know. I have a good pro shop near by that set me up correctly and is very knowledgeable. Plus a lot of this seems to be for the pro shop operator who would be setting up a bowler with a new ball and drilling it to the conditions that bowler will encounter. For someone like me, I think it is something I will leave to the people who drill balls for a living. BUT like I said nice article with a lot of information on setting up a ball for different conditions.

One of the things i remember from a Mo Pinel seminar when he introduced us to and taught us the dual angle system. Everyone has their favorite/goto ball. Determine the layout numbers on the ball. Add the sums of the tqo angles together and this is your "sweet" number. Use this total and set up your layouts to be within a 15 total in either direction. For example my favorite has a 100 total . Most of my pin down balls fall between 110-120 total and my pin ups come up 80-100 total
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation
