    Default 2 Finger bowling

hey everyone, i have only been bowling about a month now, and my average is floating around 160 to 165 which isn't all that fantastic, but i have broken 200 a couple times with my high being a 211, i was wondering

    1) are there any other two finger bowlers out there
    2) what would be a good ball for somebody with my style

There's a few no-thumbers here. In general, because of all the revs it's better to go with mid-priced balls mostly. Some people can control it better than most others. I would cross over brooklyn too much bowling this way so it's not for me.

One of my buddies who throws two-finger and averages 190-200 uses the Ebonite Tornado that you mentioned, he throws it around 16mph and it seems like a good ball for him, he doesn't swing it too far and his ball just rips the pocket

but I'd also like to mention that he wants to convert to using his thumb soon, along with every other 2-finger bowler I know personally

The biggest negative to 2 fingered bowling is the lack of accuracy and consistancy that this style tends to promote. While on todays house walls you can get away with it, onsport patterns the inconsistancy will kill you.If it were "the answer"ouldn't you see WRWjr,Petey, Barnes,Duke , etc doing it? With todays strong covers and cores even low rev players can make a mid priced ball hook a ton and still be accurate
Still love the game but had to quit because of my left leg amptation

I am one of the few 2 fingered bowlers, and I would suggest a storm hyroad or rotogrip cell, finger tip drilled, and lots of practice! U can be consistent on house shot patterns with practice!

yeah, i kinda like being one of the "few" granted the pros don't do it or what have you, but i promise once i get recruited by a major company for sponsorship i will immediately switch to the standard.... HAHA i bumped my average up to 165 today with just house balls, although i did finally get some shoes and i am trying to convince my wife to let me buy the storm tropical..... maybe for valentines day..... i am hoping a ball that is upgraded will help me turn those 9/ into X's..... i always seem to leave the middle pin up..... even when i hit the pocket perfectly.... it is very annoying

I would suggest putting you efforts into learning to bowl with all three fingers as well. I use to bowl with two and when I made the investment for a good ball it was much easier to convert to three. You will be surprised. And you will hit the pocket flush more often.

I think if your content on just bowling local leagues and such on basic house patterns, do what's comfortable for u. If u wanna do this as a career, then you'll have 2 learn with the thumb. good luck!
