Review:
The new Motiv Jackal Ghost is the biggest hooking ball in the Motiv line. The Ghost is a welcome addition for those who could not get an L.E. or wanted something a little stronger than the Trident. I have tested this ball on a variety of conditions and if there is oil you will not be disappointed. I was very curious how the Ghost would stack up against the Trident and Jackal L.E. so to the lanes we went! All of these balls had virtually the same layout and I sanded them all with a fresh 3000 pad so we could be as fair as possible. All of these Very aggressive balls by Motiv where great on oil, but I did see some differences. I have a lower rev rate and high ball speed and the shot was a heavy oiled, modified house pattern. The Ghost was definitely the strongest of the three. It had early read but when the Ghost started to hook it did not quit. I feel the Ghost hit harder than the other balls I tested. The trident rolled a lot like the Ghost for me, but was a touch weaker all the way around. The Jackal L.E. was the least hooking of the group and even though it went a bit longer it did not recover like the Ghost or Trident did on the test pattern. I have ordered another Motiv Ghost and plan on drilling it weak and adding polish but I have not tried that yet. I am sure you could sand the Ghost to a rougher grit for more hook, but that would be for extreme oil! The High Friction solid cover is very aggressive. The V2 core is a great match to this cover. If you are looking for a great ball to cross boards, or bowl on heavy oil conditions the Jackal Ghost will be a great choice. The Ghost has already created much excitement for me and at my shop.
Summary:
The Ghost Features new big hook solid cover.
This is a great choice for oil.
The Ghost rolls heavy and does not stop hooking.
If you like the Jackal line you will love this ball!

Nice review... Heres a video showing some people the ball motion. I love the colors of the ball myself, but the hook on it may be a little much for my style. But if I have a chance to try it out I will for sure
