Default How are the seating area's used while bowling.

The house I am bowling in has 3 seating area's per pair of lanes, the settee area down on the lane with 4 swivel chairs, low table seating area right behind the 1/2 wall that's a step up from the settee area and the third area is high top tables set back 6-8 feet from low table. Each area has 4 or 5 chairs.

In my night league 4man 3 game typically one team takes the low table and settee area and the other team takes the high table. This is what I have become used to seeing over the years.

I'm bowling in a morning league 3 man 3 game and the typical seating is everyone sits at the low table / settee area. There are only 6 bowlers and it seems to work pretty good in getting to know the other guys a lot better than in the regular setting. There are a couple of players / or teams that use the high table but not many.

What are the area's and how are they used in your house ?

The house I am bowling at now has 2 areas: the first being the plastic seats behind the approach and in front of the scoring system, and the second some tables & chairs behind everything (it is all on the same level here). People rarely sit in the seats next to the approach, instead opting for the tables/chairs behind it all.

At the house I bowl at, there is sitting area right near the lanes and score table, then a another behind that and then the main floor level is small area. All are used. Really depends on the team. On Sunday day there are two areas, right by the lanes and then main level area with tables where mostly everyone sits at.

In my house the chairs in the settee area are usually filled with bowling balls. Everyone pretty much sits at the tables behind the settee area or they stand.

That's been my experience as well. The seats in the settee area just seem a bit tight for people to comfortably sit there due to bowlers crossing their paths all night. Everyone prefers to sit in the tables/seats in the back
