    Default Favorite bowling ball, ever.

Thought it would be fun to list our favorites. You can choose 1 per manufacturer.

    1. Cell (Rotogrip)
    2. Pearl Pulse (Columbia 300)
    3. DZ- Red Alert (Brunswick)
    4. Triton Heat (Track)
    5. LM (Omega)
    6. High Rev (Hammer) This should be #3
    7. Pivot (Ebonite) Only got to throw 6 games with it before my injury.

Bowling balls are inanimate objects with the sole purpose of knocking down pins. The only ball that should EVER bed considered your favorite is the one that is currently in your hand that is carrying the corner pins. Bowlers cannot afford to have an emotional attachment to any bowling ball.

Come on Rob,,,, tell Iceman that a bowler can't become attached to a bowling ball!!! Just look at the love below, the care, and tenderness!!

In all seriousness, Matt, I would have to say the balls that gave you your best EVER socres. In my case that would be

IQ pearl,, Storm Butterscotch yellow mellow yellow! Gave me my FIRST 300 game last year.

Virtual Gravity Nano,,, my second 300, and 780 series that same day.

I will NEVER SALE them,,, They will always have a special place in my Iceman walk of fame trophy room!!! ( LOL

I disagree with Rob,,, Your bowling balls become a part of the family, I never,,, NEVER look at them as inanimate objects, just to be used for bowling!

Even though it has been over used and retired, I gotta go with my Black Widow Pearl. It gave me my top 3 all time high scores (including a 300) and my highest series.

I also had a Nano but was too inconsistent with that ball. I blame the bowler not the ball.

I would say the storm trauma. My buddy has had one from the time they came out. It's the first modern ball I ever thrown. On top of that he still uses it it's moves like its new and have never been de oiled or touched for that matter.

I thought it would be fun to list some favorites. For me, it's cool to reminisce about balls that have been retired but you can still remember throwing like it was yesterday. I've been bowling for about 25 years. I've thrown probably over 50 different balls, maybe 100? You remember the ceramicore series? Cuda/c, Tremor, etc. All those balls hit like trucks. Maybe it's because my youth years were my best, but I enjoy looking back. I thought this would be fun because people would see some names of retired balls, and think, "man, I remember that ball, it was awesome!". This was just for fun...
