Now that weather is warming up, and in Texas more humid, I am in search of something to keep my hands dry. I currently have a little ball that I use, but it is more rosin based which gets too tacky for me after awhile. I need something that won't add residue and grip to my hand.
What do you use that doesn't add that sticky feel that rosin does?

A good dry bag to try is the bowlingbutler.com Grip-Eze Dry Bags, I have one and is pretty good.
It doesn't leave a powder residue or dry out your skin. It uses a ABsorbent material made from a recycled paper material

There are two different type "Rosin Bags" and are for two different things.
1-Is the Dry/puffball Type bag, those are the big ones you see bowler's using most of the time to dry a sweaty hand or patting on the finger holes. These are a cloth bag and mostly contain a clay like ADsorbent silica material (like cat litter) that makes a fine dust that drys your hand out.
2-Is the Grip type which is more of a true "rosin bag", they are meant to give you more grip. They have a white sticky powder substance in them ( I believe a plant extract or similar type material) that gives you a surer grip on the ball.
Warning these two bags are not interchangeable! Over use the grip type and you can hang up in a ball, also the sticky white powder can build up in the holes and cause you to stick.

Combination of the dry/rosin bag (#1 bowl mentioned) and the fan. Occasionally I'll run my hand over the towel if my bag is back at the table and I forgot to use it. Seems to work well, but I have had issues a couple times where my thumb slips out and my ball goes straight up from my backswing about 5 feet. Happens once every yr or so.
Eat one handed! It may look silly but it works. Or the comedy option, just use your shirt, whats a couple other grease stains on it?
I'll have to give it a shot as well. It's not even hot (or humid) and I always have issues with my hands being sweaty. I have a puffball but really it's not helping all that much, so most of the time I end up just drying my hand off by rubbing it with a microfiber towel that hasn't been exposed to oil.

I discovered where I work that the Kimberly Clark "Kim Wipes" do an amazing job at removing moisture from the hands...so I took some to league night in the humid summer and just put my thumb into one wadded up in between frames. Worked like a champ, so I bought a whole box.

They're cheap, and a single one lasts all night so they go a long way.
Doesn't happen that often to me tho, don't get sweaty hands much but when you need it you need it.
Years ago I was hanging up in a urethane ball I had and was so bad I lofted one into the next lane. Out of pure desperation I went out the car and got some WD-40 and would lightly "glaze" my thumb before each approach. It worked like a damned charm, just the right amount of "slip" to let me come out clean. Probably against some rule but it saved my game and my thumb, and probably the safety of the people next to me. lol

The things you learn!!!!
I keep chapstick in my bag all the time (for extremely chapped lips) but never thought about using it when the thumb is just a little "sticky".
Has anyone ever tried using (I think it's called) grip enhancer? I've seen it mentioned I think when it comes to shooting, tennis, and golf to keep hands dry.
