Cheetah pattern is a rough one. I've been in the 400's on it, but also shot one series in the 650's. Short patterns are a *****.

I bowled 12 games on the Cheetah when I was in that sport league waaaaay back when and rolled a:

The shorter patterns seemed to be the harder ones.

Buddies Winter Challenge Week 17, 12/29/25

Pattern: PBA Cheetah 35' (2025)

Scores:
214, 104, 172, 490 Total

First game was as solid as anything I've thrown in any league this season, Clean with four strikes in a row to finish. Moved to 49-50 threw it exactly where I wanted to, the ball looked good until it over reacted for a greek church. Frame two went light for a 2-8 that I chopped. frame three was a washout... and so it went. Third game was on 41-42 which always plays way different. Back to hitting the pocket most of the time, getting a few strikes and making most of my spares.

Buddies Winter Challenge Week 18, 1/5/25

Pattern: PBA Cheetah 35' (2025)

Scores:
238, 142, 181, 561 Total

Started on 49-50. My scores on this lane for the previous weeks were 132 and 104. Some of what happened last night was that almost every thing that was tugged either hit the 1-2 pocket and carried or just left a 6 pin or 6-10. No big splits or washouts the first game. Moving to 41-42is always a big adjustment When I finally got the ball to the right side of the headpin I still wasn't getting any carry. Third game had a few misses early but finished strong.

It was the last night of the first half, next week we reset so I should be bowling The same bowler that I bowled the first week of the season. He went on to win the first half.
