    We're wicked nuts! hahahaha.

Back on topic: I guess I don't care about ball look or ball smell (wait a minute... careful!). But going from the Hammer No Mercy (completely black except for the white pin) to the Lane 1 Droid, it's kind of weird actually seeing all the rotation on the ball as it travels down the lane.

Not helping the situation since 1983.

900 Global Jewel red/yel/pink, Brunswick T-Zone Indigo Swirl blue/black/white, Slingshot Purple Pearl, T-Zone Groovy Grape yel/purple/white, Rainbow Twist red/yel/grn, DV8 Misfit orange/blue, Hammer TNBA Rhythm orange/purple/black, Ratchet purple/silver/black, Lane#1 Boom R'ANG yel/purple/gold, Roto Grip Shout or/blue, Rising Star yel/gold/black, Storm Tropical Heat Pearl orange/purple, Marvel Pearl red/purple/silver, Fire Road red/purple. Just a few I like for looks or on a display shelf. I can picture them all in a nice glass case. A guy can dream. It would need a sign that says NOT TO BE USED AT THE BOWLING ALLEY. LOL. Rest well my babies. Daddy loves you all. Then I woke up and found that I had been dreaming. DOH!

I love the Marauder Madness as it goes down the lane. Each ball you can definitely tell the revs buy how the colors look. It actually helps me understand how I am rolling it, and how the lanes are by being able to see the break so much easier.

No, it's made by a company called Lane #1. It's a smaller brand, but it seems pretty well respected. They're a company out of Syracuse, NY, and apparently they aren't the most pro-shop friendly brand, so it's hard to find anywhere but bowlingball.com.

The league I bowl in has a lot of Northeastern guys (I'm from New Jersey, lived in Connecticut, have family in Massachusetts) so I was lucky to bowl with the Droid a time or two before I bought it. FWIW, when I brought it into the pro shop to get it drilled, the guy was impressed and said Lane #1 makes a great ball. He also said he has a helluva time ordering them, so if I have a good source and I want the Sawz (for a while their brand was almost exclusively named after saws) to use them and he will be happy to drill them for me, and throw it a couple times if I want him too (last part was a joke).

I like it because it's different. I did have some luck throwing my buddies ball, so I had an idea of how it would react for me. But I also like having a ball that not everyone else has. I'm glad everyone likes DV8 on here, but that kind of makes me not want one. I like being a little different.

I have been trying not to get in on this one because I just got myself a DV8 Terror for Christmas two weeks ago. If I had to get a new ball today it would be the Hammer Nail Smoke and Fire. I was gonna go with a spare ball, but I figure I could pick 10 pins better with this than my Storm Frantic and it would be effective when the lanes are fried. Plus it is one sexy looking ball.
    Cheers - Ryan

I've been debating about this ball since it's release due solely to looks. Motiv Primal Scream

Been watching reaction videos from the Rotogrip Disturbed, looks insane going down the lane. Makes me want one.
