Default Do you ever feel like you always strike when going brooklyn?

It makes me wonder why this isn't an accepted method of getting strikes.
It feels like there are three rows of dominoes + the back corner pin (7 pin for righties). I feel like a lot of pocket hits get more single pins left over and splits.

your depending more on luck and pin action instead of proven bowling since when you hit the pocket

Brooklyn strikes are harder to get! On a pocket shot the ball is moving into the pocket, while on a Brooklyn strike the ball is moving away from the pocket on the left side, which is why you see a lot of 5-9. In my obervations the Brooklyn hits higher on the 1 pin, while the pocket hits more flush between the 1-3. I've had 4/5 brooklyns in a row and people always ask"Are you going to keep doing that?" and I reply with a smile"I don't care how I get it,as long as theirs an X in the box."

Brooklyns are nice when they happen but for the most part I try for pocket hits, not brooklyns.

I think it's been proven a long time ago that you get better pin carry on pocket shots and it's easier to hit. The margin of error for brooklyn shots is a lot lower. Also, with oil patterns put out on house patterns, it is more beneficial to aim for the true pocket so to not be fighting against the pattern.
