bowling the blind team

I would rather bowl against the best team in the world than to
have to bowl against the blind score. It always seems like our
team always bowls bad when we come up against the blind team
I guess we get to bowling too fast or something.

I never bowl any good if I bowl at a really fast pace which is what
seems to happen just about every time when we bowl against the
blind team. This past summer we bowled against the blind team
2 times and lost our butts both times. The first time we only took
4 points out of 18 and the second time 9 points out of the 18 if we
had taken all 18 points both times we could of had and would have
had 1st place locked up as no one could have caught us the last week
as we would have been 28 points ahead of the 2nd place team so we
could have lost every point on the last position round and still took 1st
place by 10 points.

So yeah I would rather have to bowl against any team in the world than
to have to bowl against a blind score.

Are you bowling on both lanes? Make sure the leadoff bowler does not start on lane two until the anchor has rolled on lane 1. This is not a waste of your team's time, as it should simulate game pace. If you bowl every time you are up, you will find yourself hurrying up on lane 1 to get onto your next frame on lane 2, giving you no time to sit and process between shots. Focus. When bowling the blind, you should have extra time on the lanes, because each frame you begin is never further delayed by the other bowlers. However, there is no reason to accelerate the pace just because you are "up" on both lanes at practically the same time.
