Old Brunswick Balls

I have 2 old Brunswick bowling balls. Was wondering if any of the more experienced bowlers may have any details on either of these balls.

The ball is gray in color. I assume it's a basic plastic ball. It's the first ball I purchased and I really don't remember any of the details.

The second ball I bought back in the early 1990's. It's a Brunswick Twister Urethane: Twister 1.jpgTwister 2.jpgTwister 3.jpg

The ball is solid black. I having this ball converted to a finger tip grip to use as a spare ball. I used this ball for a couple of years before I gave up the game due to lack of time (Grad school, work, wife, etc.).

Getting back into the game and was just curious about these 2 balls.

As for the Brunswick - Twister Black (I think this was one of those ball's you saw in like K-Mart or Sports Authority type places.)

The Pearl I believe is just plastic ball, they came in multiple colors.

I use a Brunswick Headhunter, a similar old school urethane piece, as a ball for spares. These aged urethane balls don't really perform too heavily to today's standards, but still do a fine job. Originally i was using this ball as my "comeback" ball just to get it going again after a long lay over of never bowling for years. So i'd say it's a good idea to start out with what you have and move up to something better in time.

I've been a solid Brunswick user for over 15 years, But I'm not too familiar with these two balls. Here's a list of Brunswick balls, an archive list, and maybe you can find more iso there. Keep in mind the new technology of balls is lightyears away from balls made just 10 years ago. You may want to shelve these for memory purposes and invest in the newer balls. Trust me, it will help you and make a big difference in your scores.

The Pearl is basically the same as a T-Zone 3 piece plastic

Keep in mind the new technology of balls is lightyears away from balls made just 10 years ago. You may want to shelve these for memory purposes and invest in the newer balls. Thanks for all your replies. You confirmed what I figured to be the case. As I said I was just curious about the spec for those old balls.

I'm getting the Twister converted to finger tip grip to use as my spare ball. As my strike balls I have a 900 Global Hook! Red/Yellow solid and a Storm Tropical Heat Orange/Purple that has been sanded.
