National bowling Stadium in Reno was used for the big tournament in Kingpin. Not sure about Lancaster bowl, but it was somewhere in Pittsburg.

The new Men in Black movie had a scene in a bowling alley that was real they went in repainted and fixed up somethings to film the movie. The bowling alley is actually here in the Bronx that is the alley my grandmother runs her Saturday morning jr. league in and iv'e actually bowled there (kind of cool lol) Van Nest bowl Bronx NY.
In the movie Buffalo '66 a key scene happens at Recckio's Lanes. Vincent Gallo appears to be a pretty good bowler, too!
