Nexus vs Nexxus

hi.. i'm planning on getting either the nexus f(p+F) or nexxus f(P+R).. from the ball specs, certainly nexxus has more hook and seems the better ball.. but when i check the ball reaction video thrown by the same person (Tony Ruocco) with exactly the same layout, style n everything, the nexus seems to have more hook..
so my question.. any recommendation here? which is the better choice? nexus or nexxus?

My Nexxus f(P+R) is arriving tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. The Nexxus f(P+R) is the better ball and it does have more hook. Maybe when he was throwing the Nexus f(P+F) he was just using a different line in the video, or he was adding more hook with his hand/wrist position, or maybe the lanes were a little more dry, or he slowed down the speed a little more.

To say either of the balls are bad would be stupid.. they are both great balls and you should choose what you think you would be more comfortable with.

But ya, the Nexxus f(P+R) definitely has more hook. I would choose the new one if I was you, but that's because I've already chose the new one ;)

Also, as soon as I get this baby drilled tomorrow and throw a few games and use it in league tomorrow, I'll post a review on here so be sure to check it out in the ball review section.

Oh ya, its hands down the best ball I've used, but maybe that's not entirely fair to say considering it's the first ball I've gotten in the last 6-7 years. I came back to bowling in December after not bowling for 5 years, and I was using my balls from years ago. Since having this ball for just over a month now, my strike percentage has gone up 10% (on average), which is considerably higher. My strike percentage was probably around the 50%, and since getting the NeXXus its been in the 60% sometimes 70%.

It just crushes the pins. It rarely leaves corner pins when you hit the pocket, and if I use a different ball (old ball) it leaves 10 pins all the time.

Make sure you do something I haven't been doing, keep that oil off the ball. I haven't been doing this just because I don't have any cleaner yet and have been too lazy. It will pick up that oil big time though, so make sure you use some cleaner immediately after each use to help keep it off. It won't hook as much if you don't. I remember how much mine hooked the first week I had it, and it probably has lost close to half of its hook. I don't mind though, I just play further right than I did, but I need to get it baked to get the oil out and get that massive hook back. I've got probably a little more than a 100 games on it.
