Bowling is a great game, but when I started I used a bowling ball from a thrift store that had someone elses name engraved on it and was beat up.

But...it was all mine and I fell in love with bowling.

After completeing a "learn to bowl" class...WAY back in the day, I got some plastic ball with my name on it!! LOL The first ball that I bought myself was a Saphirre Zone...

My first ball was a Manhatten Rubber with a conventional grip. Back in the early 60's thats all there was.

A Brunswick Crown Jewel kind of a blue and copper swirl color, got it for my 18th birthday.

my 1st ball was a LT-48,great ball back then,not to mention a heck of a lot cheaper than the ones i have to buy today

What was your first bowling ball?

Mine was actually the Black Widow Venom. I know it's expensive but it is completely amazing! I have used it for my whole life and never picked up another ball ;). Its counterweight cannot be compared to anything I have ever used!
