Introduction
Retro cores and strong reactive coverstocks define the new Avalanche series from Brunswick. Using proven core technology from the Teal Rhino Pro and some of Brunswick’s most well know coverstocks, the Avalanche delivers unprecedented value to the bowling customer. Core All Avalanche balls use the acclaimed Teal Rhino Pro light bulb core. The Teal Rhino Pro light bulb core and it’s Danger Zone modification have been at the heart of two of the most successful balls of all time.

Coverstock
The Avalanche Blue/Silver Pearl uses N’Control PowerBoost Reactive. Designed for more length than the PowerKoil family coverstocks. N’Control Power Boost is designed for lighter amounts of oil and a more “down the boards” line to the pocket.

Reaction Characteristics •Out of the Box: With its High Gloss Polish surface the Avalanche Blue/Silver Pearl will match-up well on dry to medium lane conditions
•If your Avalanche Blue/Silver Pearl goes too long: Shiny surface finishes sometimes cause the ball to go too long before breaking. Dull the surface with progressively rougher abrasives to increase hooking action.
•If your Avalanche Blue/Silver Pearl hooks too early: The Avalanche is at it’s maximum length surface preparation. You will need to use a less aggressive ball, such as Brunswick’s Power Groove Dry to create more length.

BVP - Brunswick Value Performance - Exceptional Value and Great Performance

Coverstock
The BVP Sidewinder features Brunswick's first Solid/Pearl Hybrid - Low Load Particle coverstock. Known for mid-lane recovery with controlled and continuous breakpoints, the Brunswick low load particle ball reaction has been a favorite for many types of bowlers on both high scoring house shots and more demanding sport lane conditions.

Reaction Characteristics

On typical house shots, the BVP Sidewinder's low load particle coverstock helps smooth over reactions to the driest parts of the lane, creating a smoother but more predictable ball reaction that many bowlers prefer.

On more demanding sport shots, the BVP Sidewinder's low load particle coverstock and low RG Rocket core increases mid-lane traction helping to create mid-lane recovery and improve the skid/roll/hook ball transition when reactive coverstock balls are going too long.

Out of the Box when dulled: With its High Gloss Polish finish the BVP Sidewinder will match up well on medium-dry to medium-oily lane conditions. The BVP Sidewinder's hooking action will increase and its arc will become more even, creating a better match-up for oily lane conditions and help blend the over/under reactions seen on wet/dry lane conditions.

Introduction

Coverstock
The Twisted Fury introduces EnMotion Reactive coverstock. More aggressive in the mid-lane and back-end than High Octane, EnMotion Reactive delivers tremendous mid-lane recovery and forgiveness combined with plenty of back-end ball reaction.

Core
Brunswick has added a new twist to the Torsion core concept by producing an Asymmetric version for the Twisted Fury. The symmetric version of the Torsion core used in the original Fury was based on triangular geometry. The Asymmetric version is based on a six-sided polygon. The inner core of a 16-pound Twisted Fury weighs in at 6.36 pounds, resulting in a medium RG that helps push the aggressive EnMotion coverstock down the lane. Brunswick has put a new twist on core design so you can twist it up better on the lanes.

Reaction Characteristics
•Out of the Box: With its Rough Buff finish, the Twisted Fury will provide excellent mid-lane recovery and a strong continuous back-end reaction.
•If your Twisted Fury goes too long: Dull the surface with 800-grit or rougher abrasive to get the Twisted Fury to roll sooner and increase its hooking action.
•If your Twisted Fury hooks too early: Polish your Twisted Fury with Brunswick’s Factory Finish High Gloss Polish.

To bring your Twisted Fury back to its original factory finish, sand the surface to 400-grit then use Brunswick’s Factory Rough Buff Finish.

Introduction
Reaction Characteristics The Ultimate Inferno is a heavy oil ball designed for bowlers who prefer Reactive over Particle coverstocks. The Ultimate Inferno uses the same core as the original Inferno but combines it with a solid 800-grit dull version of Activator coverstock.

Compared to the original Inferno:
1.The Ultimate Inferno will match-up better to oily lane conditions, longer patterns and heavy carry down.
2.The Ultimate Inferno will match-up better for bowlers who struggle with excessively long ball reaction.
3.The Ultimate Inferno will match-up better on heavily oiled - over/under lane conditions.

Introduction

Core
The Phantom core was the first core with a two-pin design and a built in Preferential Spin Axis (PSA). The ABC/USBC used the Phantom core to establish the original RGmin and RGdiff specifications for the system of bowling. By using an updated version of the Phantom core, Brunswick has increased the asymmetric differential of the Zone line from 0.017" to 0.020". Combined with Activator coverstock and a 800-grit wet sand finish, the Blast Zone upgrades the Strike Zone in the Zone Asymmetric line.

Reaction Characteristics

1.Out of the Box: With its 800-grit wet sand surface, the Blast Zone is an ideal asymmetric ball on medium-to-oily lane conditions.

2.If your Blast Zone goes too long: Dull the surface using 600-grit or rougher abrasive. The hooking action will increase and its arc will become more even, creating a better match-up for oily lane conditions and for smoothing over/under reactions seen on wet/dry lane conditions.

3.If your Blast Zone hooks too early: Smooth the surface with 1000, 2000, or 4000-grit abrasives to create more length. If your Blast Zone still hooks too early, polish the surface with either Brunswick's Factory Finish "High Gloss Polish" or "Rough Buff". High Gloos Polish creates more length than Rough Buff.

Introduction

The Ultra Zone brings the new EnMotion reactive coverstock from the Twisted Fury into the Zone line and combines it with the updated Phantom core to create an ultra-low-RG alternative that complements the reaction of the Twisted Fury.

The Ultra Zone uses a Solid/Pearl Hybrid version of the EnMotion coverstock. EnMotion combines the best elemnts from our PowerKoil, Activator and N'Control coverstock systems to creat good length combined with excellent mid-lane recovery and strong back-end hooking action. The Ultra Zone unites EnMotion coverstock with the ultra-low-RG updated Phantom core. Ultra-low-RG's are known for strong mid-lane recovery moves and their controllable back-end hooking action. Brunswick has created an early revving counterpart to the Twisted Fury that will match-up better on lane patterns that create over/under problems for skid/snap
