The earliest forms of bowling games, believe it or not, originated in ancient Egypt. Who would've guessed? Even though the pins are set up in a sort of pyramid-shaped configuration, I wouldn't have traced the sport back that far. It has remained a very popular sport, of course, to this day. Both for competition and recreation, many people enjoy bowling on a regular basis.
