The unofficial "Suggest a Fragrance to Storm" thread

My GF and I were talking about this the other day and we thought it might be fun to post a thread where we could suggest scents that Storm maybe hasn't thought of yet but that might be good ones for their products such as Cinnamon - I love this smell, we have cinnamon apple air freshener things all over our house and the ball could be bright red, like an Atomic Fireball and Lavender to help you achieve a zen-like calm while bowling, and stuff like that.

So here it is. Let's post our suggestions. Who knows, someone from Storm might see it and use one of our ideas! :D

I think the smell of bacon would cause riots in bowling centers and pro shops around the world!

I'm with you, I had one but I didn't post it cause I didn't want to get in trouble. Probably thinking of the same scent as you. Anyone want to buy a Virtual Gravity Nano, Outlaw, or Fire Road? Kidding, but those balls won't be seeing a lane any time soon. I would sell the Fire Road, only has 8 games on it, but the others I'll keep. I'll sell the one that smells like fruit. I want a ball that smells like a bowling ball.

And Bill, yes, there is a certain perfume that AZBowla's Girl wears... Fire and Ice is the name of it... I would be completely unable to bowl if there was a ball anywhere near me that smelled like that perfume...

So, I read this and started to laugh. The stress of the week started to leave and I couldn't stop laughing. All I could picture was me on the lanes with those pants, a Hammer ball and dancing like the video. My wife just looked at me like I was a deranged psychopath. Thank you for the laugh.

Do they really have scented balls (slight giggle...)??? I've seen a couple posts now about how a bowling ball smells. I had no idea! It's bowling, people!!! hahahaha. Isn't it required all bowling alley's smell like sweat/body odor/foot stench/smoke and general awfulness? I would have never guessed smell is such a big issue. hahahahaha.

I'll have to go take a big whiff of my bowling balls and shoes. I never knew they were scented.

Yes my perfume completely paralyses him as soon as he smells it. He goes weak in the knees and can also start drooling too. LOL I love it. Hehehehee

My rapid fire pearl is cinnamon vanilla and it smells amazing! i also believe apple exists if not cinnamon apple but i don't remember what ball it was.

as far as new scents if it doesn't exist yet watermelon would be nice.


there's some scents storm should revisit and fix though, like their fire road...it's supposed to be mango but to me it smells like cherry cough syrup

I will have to try that when we go to the pro shop next. I got my plastic Sponge Bob ball filled and re-drilled fingertip style today. I tried to bowl, but the shoes at the lanes really suck. I tried a couple different pairs while we were there, but to no avail the shoes kept sticking. I will have to get my new shoes sooner than later as one of my X-Mas gifts so I can try out the ball. I am really excited about using the fingertip grips. The grips are purple too. ;) Next comes a new ball.

As far as my suggestions for today....after consuming a couple of good glasses Balvenie 12yr, I think there should be a ball that smells like good scotch. Or at least something smokey like that. Or maybe something like real smoke like when you first light a good cigar.

How about Fresh Cut Grass, or maybe White Out (anyone remember that) or maybe Baby Powder. Or if your not a Storm fan you can suggest Hot Garbage, or Wet Dog, or Burning Hair. For me, I want a ball that smells like a bowling ball. A long as the put special smells in bowling balls, I will not buy a Storm product. I won't even buy Rotogrip, even though they don't have a smell. They are owned by Storm, and I refuse to support a company who makes smelly balls (ummmm what?) With that said, the only ball I throw now it a rotogrip, but I got it for free, and it will be gone soon.

Although I use Storm almost exclusively, I can see where you are coming from. My uncle runs our alley's pro shop and always suggests Storm products to people. When a new release occurs and he drills up 7-10 new balls his office smells like Bath and Body Works.

I also have a Nomad Pearl too and it's just setting there
in the locker. I haven't used it in a while myself it's just
setting in there collecting dust it might have maybe 2 or
3 games on it altogether.

I just never did like the way it rolled and the way it hit the
pins it has to weak of a drilling on it I guess. I might just go
ahead and plug it and re-drill it quite a bit stronger now that
I've started thinking about having it setting there in the locker
again.

I might just make that my weekend project if I have the time.
